Mackenzie Hebert, DVM

Dr. Hebert was born and raised in Basile, Louisiana. She earned an Associate Degree in Biology from Louisiana State University-Eunice, a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from McNeese State University, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Hebert has special interests in the areas of dermatology, food animals, and surgery. She is a member of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. Her favorite aspect of being a veterinarian is offering the highest standard of care to her patients and getting to know the lovely clients that bring them in.

She and her husband, Grant, have a daughter named Raeleigh, and they are expecting baby number two in the Fall of 2025. Their family also includes Mila, a mini schnauzer. Away from the clinic, Dr. Hebert enjoys spending time with her family, taking her dog exploring outdoors, attending adoration, and trying new recipes.
